Condition: All pages are present, however, the title pages are detached along with the front cover board. Pages have very minor tanning. Title pages show heavier signs of foxing and tanning. There is a dedication plate on the inside front cover. Book cover demonstrates a beautiful gilt and raised design down the spine and a small gilt image on the front cover. The spine does show some crushing to the top and bottom, and this is the same with the board corners and edges.
This is a stunning book that with the exception of the detached cover and title pages is in fabulous condition for a book that is 145 years old. It would be a great addition to any collection.
